Building For the Future:
We were very fortunate to be one of the founding families at St. Vincent de Paul Parish 25 years ago. It started with a handful of families, Fr. Hanneman, a big vision and an empty field. There was leadership, sacrifice, faith and a great base of support from a very small parish. From the beginning, the parish masterplan included three key components – the church, the school and the parish center. When we embarked on this journey way back in 1992, the importance of a school and church were the top priority.
Over the years as we tackled the debt and expanded the school, the discussion of a parish center was continually revisited as our needs, families and ministries continued to grow. The parish repeatedly has to turn programs away, juggle conference room schedules and find “creative ways” to accommodate all of the gathering space requests. With the parish debt all but retired, Lynn and I are thrilled that the parish center will now be built.
This new parish center, recently announced by Fr. Kampschneider, will be a dynamic, engaging and multi-use facility. As we launch this new project and capital campaign, you soon will see many details about the use and benefits. It is in this place that we will be able to continue to deliver on the true mission of St. Vincent de Paul. This parish, church and school have been a big part of the faith journey for our family. As we continue as an active and engaged community of believers together, we look forward to your support of the new parish center
