Faith. Family. Fellowship. Service. The St. Vincent de Paul Parish Center will bring it all together. Our church is home to many beautiful Masses and sacraments every year. With our new 22,000-square-foot Parish Center, we will be better able to accommodate everything that goes with those blessings, from large receptions, big and small group meetings, youth ministries, and outreach to help those in need.
It’s all part of the master plan. When St. Vincent de Paul Parish was founded in 1992, we developed a master plan to keep a vibrant, active and close-knit church community. Since then, we’ve built our beautiful church, our school and even some additional meeting space. Now, it’s time for our final building phase – our Parish Center.
Archdiocesan Meitler Study Findings. In 2014, Archbishop Lucas commissioned a study to help create a pastoral plan for West Omaha parishes to determine how to best serve the dynamic needs of Catholics in the area. The findings were released in 2016, and resulted in a recommendation for the parish of St. Vincent de Paul to “complete the facility plan with a capital campaign to build the Parish Center.” .
